Controls that support responsible outreach.
Built-in screening, suppression, opt-out, quiet-hour, and outreach controls help teams apply their communication policies consistently. They support your compliance program — they don't replace it.
- DNC screening before batches
- Known-litigator filtering
- Quiet hours by recipient time zone
- Automatic STOP / opt-out suppression
- Platform-wide suppression list
- Configurable SMS repeat-contact cooldowns
Requirements differ by channel
SMS is not email. Batch SMS carries the strictest consent and sender-registration requirements (A2P 10DLC), calling has its own consent considerations by call method, and commercial email follows different rules again. Landing Zone's controls reflect those differences — and the docs explain each channel's requirements in detail:

The controls, in detail
Each control is built into the send path. Together they help you keep outreach organized, suppress the contacts you shouldn't message, and keep a record of what happened.
DNC screening
Records are checked against Do-Not-Call data before a batch sends. Matches are held out of the send rather than dialed or texted. Details →
Litigator filtering
Known-litigator lists are checked alongside DNC, so flagged numbers are held out of outreach automatically. Details →
Quiet hours
Sending is held to local daytime windows based on the recipient's time zone, so messages don't fire overnight. Details →
STOP / opt-out handling
Inbound STOP and opt-out replies are detected and the contact is suppressed automatically — across email and SMS. Details →
Suppression list
A platform-wide suppression list keeps opted-out and held contacts out of every future batch, not just the current one. Details →
Duplicate outreach prevention
The system remembers who you've already contacted, so two campaigns don't hit the same person.
SMS repeat-contact cooldowns
Landing Zone can prevent repeated SMS outreach to a contact during a configured cooldown period unless the contact responds. A cooldown helps pace outreach — it does not by itself make a message lawful. Details →
Unsubscribe tracking
Email unsubscribes are tracked and honored across campaigns, so an opt-out in one place applies everywhere.
Bounced email handling
Hard bounces are flagged and pulled from active sending to protect sender reputation and deliverability.
Audit history
Outreach, opt-outs, and suppression events are recorded and stay attached to the contact, so you keep a history to review. Details →
Your responsibility
Landing Zone provides tools that support responsible outreach, but users are responsible for obtaining any required consent, selecting lawful audiences and use cases, and complying with federal, state, carrier, and platform requirements.
These tools assist your compliance program but do not constitute legal advice, and Landing Zone does not guarantee compliance with the TCPA or any other law or regulation. Consult your own counsel about the rules that apply to your outreach. The docs cover what stays your responsibility and how the tools fit together.

Every plan includes the same screening, suppression, and opt-out controls.
